Recordings will be available for those registered to review through the end of this year. Learn the ancient history of Tahteeb, how movements change from folklore to stage to Raqs Sharqi, cultural context, music, and more in this six week course. This course is perfect for dancers looking to dive into folklore and Upper Egyptian culture as well as for those with less dance experience interested in cultural studies. Full syllabus will be sent to each registered student including supplemental materials to enhance learning.
